Air Fryer Safety

What should I check before using the Air Fryer for the first time?

Inspect the unit for any visible transit damage before plugging it in. Check that your power supply is 220–240V, 50Hz AC — this is printed on the data plate on the unit. Do not use the appliance if the plug, cord, or unit shows any signs of damage.

Where should I place the Air Fryer?

Place it on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface. Keep at least 10cm of clearance on all sides, especially around the rear air vents. Do not place it inside a cabinet, under shelves, or near curtains, walls, or any flammable materials. Do not place anything on top of the unit while it is in use.

What should I never do with the power cord?

Do not allow the cord to hang over sharp edges, touch hot surfaces, or get wet. Do not use the appliance if the cord is damaged — have it replaced by a qualified technician. Inspect the cord periodically for signs of wear.

Do I need to supervise the Air Fryer while it cooks?

Yes, do not leave it unattended during active cooking unless it is safe to do so for your specific setup. Unplug the unit when it is not in use and before cleaning.

Can I use the Air Fryer outdoors?

No. It is designed for indoor household use only.

What accessories can I use with it?

Use only the accessories supplied with the unit or recommended by Upliance. Do not insert any objects into the vents or openings.

The exterior gets hot during use — is that normal?

Yes. Accessible surfaces of the Air Fryer get hot during operation. Do not touch the exterior, basket, or internal tray without oven gloves. Use the handles provided when removing the basket or interacting with hot parts.

Can I move the Air Fryer while it is still hot?

No. Turn it off, unplug it, and allow it to cool sufficiently before moving it. If you need to move it while it is still warm, carry it with both hands using oven gloves.

What about steam when I open the Air Fryer mid-cook?

Hot steam is released when you open the unit during cooking. Stand back and open carefully to avoid scalding.

Can I put cooking oil or water directly into the Air Fryer?
